Welcome to Woodlands house and our grounds. We are a unique, private, and corporate functions specialists with accommodation in the heart of Scottish Scottish Borders, which is an easy drive from Edinburgh and Newcastle.
With stunning views, opulence, privacy, and comfort, we offer the perfect luxurious setting for your private and corporate needs. We cater for bespoke parties and events for occasions such as award ceremonies, training, team building, conferences family gatherings, wakes, Christmas, Halloween, Easter, and New year celebrations. We would be delighted to host your birthdays, anniversaries, christenings, engagements, graduations, and office parties. Whatever the requirement, we will always go the extra mile to offer you unforgettable moments. We can cater up to 60 sit-down meals and 100 receptions.
Parties and anniversaries
Whether you are young or old, looking for a wild party night or a more formal occasion, Woodlands house can offer something for everyone for up to 100 guests. We can help arrange the ideal surroundings to suit your needs.
Wakes
Losing someone can be difficult, without the added pressure of organising a memorial service or wake. At Woodlands house, we can help eliminate any stress by helping you plan a seamless day in keeping with your needs and providing a fitting tribute to your loved one. Whether you require a service of remembrance held in our hallway followed by a buffet lunch or simply a private room in which to hold a wake, we can help you decide the best options for you, your family, and your guests.
Christmas Parties
We can relieve the pressure by organising your work Christmas party. We offer a hot buffet dinner, decorations, and a disco from 7 pm to midnight to celebrate the festive season in style. If you prefer a daytime bash instead, we can also hold Christmas lunch parties for you and your work colleagues from 12:30 pm.
Conferences and meetings
Woodlands house offers an ideal setting for corporate use such as meetings, presentations, conferences, and training courses. Please contact us with your requirements.

A typical full corporate day event is as follows.
9:00 Door opens and the meeting, conference, team building, or seminar commences.
11:00-11:30 Tea, coffee, and soft drinks are served in mid-morning.
13:00-14:00 Lunch

The minimum number is 6 and the maximum is 60. From £59.50 per person in the boardroom.
